Some dishes are so tasty, but you usually (unfortunately) only make them when you eat with several people because you always have leftovers. What if you reduce the recipe of such a dish, for example a quiche, and make it in a smaller portion?
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tbsp milk
- Grinded pepper
- 1/4 bagel
- 2 teaspoons cream cheese
- 1/2 slice of (Parma) ham
- Fresh thyme or chives
- Dijon mustard
The result is a one person quiche in a coffee mug. Tasty and simple, just what we love. This recipe is from stltoday.com .
Beat the eggs and milk with a fork in a coffee mug, add salt and pepper. Tear the bread into thumb-sized pieces and stir them into the mixture. Add the cream cheese and mix well. Tear the ham into small pieces and stir into the mixture, sprinkle with thyme or chives.
Bake the quiche in the microwave at 750 watts for 70 seconds. Serve with mustard and fresh thyme or chives.
