On the blog Can you stay for dinner we found this super smart idea to make your omelette in the microwave. Nice and fast and no dishes!
- 2 eggs
- Splash of milk to taste
- Pepper and salt
- sunflower oil
- Paper towel
Grease a bowl with a thin layer of sunflower oil. In our opinion, it is most convenient when you dip a piece of kitchen paper in the oil and grease it with it.
Break the eggs into the bowl and add a splash of milk. Season with salt and pepper and beat the eggs with a fork.
Lightly moisten a piece of kitchen paper and cover the container with it. Place the bowl in the microwave and “bake” the omelette for 90 seconds at 70% of the maximum capacity. Throw away the kitchen paper and you have a perfectly formed omelette, ideal on a bun or between a delicious bagel, yum!
* Do you prefer a ‘baveuse’ omelette (still a bit soft in the middle), then this is not the method for you.
