Another delicious recipe from the blog Sesu Chops , this time with a grilled cheese sandwich with avocado. Yum!
For 2 sandwiches:
- 4 slices of bread
- About 80 grams of kernhem in slices (or another cheese that melts well)
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 level teaspoons sambal badjak (or rings of jalepeno pepper)
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
- Handful of fresh spinach
- Olive oil
- lump of butter
Place two slices of bread side by side. Spread with a layer of sambal. Then top with cheese, avocado, red onion, spinach and parsley. Also finish with a layer of cheese on top, because this way the slice of bread that comes on top will stick well.
Place a large frying pan on the stove. Heat the olive oil and the butter. Place the other two slices of bread on the built sandwiches and press slightly.
Once the pan is hot, place the sandwiches in the pan. Turn the heat to medium and cook until brown and crispy on both sides for about three minutes. Also make sure the cheese is well melted.
Remove the sandwiches from the pan and cut diagonally. Have a nice lunch!
