You really notice that summer is over, and I’m already working behind the scenes with new Sinterklaas and Christmas recipes. Winter is coming! Fortunately, we also had a number of beautiful warm days in October. Watch and read more about the latest food post, hotspots and news.

A few weeks ago I conducted a survey among my visitors and it was very interesting and instructive. But above all positive, because the overall rating of LeukRecepten was a solid 8.5! So I’m very proud of that.

I included the tips and results of the survey in our conversation at Usine with our web design agency Onstuimig. Early next year the site will get an upgrade and we are already working behind the scenes and it will be really beautiful!

AH has 12 new meat products in the shops for a super quick meal. For on a wrap, a sandwich or through the pasta.

Spontaneously we went to Het Boscafe in Oisterwijk on Friday afternoon to play with our niece and nephew. It is located completely in the woods and secluded, but is ideal for lunch or dinner with children. We also had a snack there, I went for the pulled pork burger.

Every other Friday Jaimy is in my kitchen, together we make new recipes for the site. This time we made new Sinterklaas and Christmas recipes. And it was all delicious, so that promises a lot of goodies during Christmas!

It was 4 October animal day, Payo was also put in the spotlight. He was given a tasty snack and an extra cuddle.

Good news on my doorstep again: the new Tony’s chatterhead almond. This will be with the AH for the next 6 months. I found it very tasty, very sweet but that is almost impossible other than with chatter heads.

For my birthday I got a weekend to Germany as a gift from Eric, we stayed on the Moselle and it was really beautiful. Payo was also with us and we had a lovely walk together.

The weather in October was lovely, sometimes even 26 degrees. During my break I really enjoyed the garden with a cup of soup and the new Allerhande.

I was sent 2 new books: Baguette and Puff Pastry. This contains delicious snacks made with baguette or puff pastry. Really something for me because I love that!

I did a Pinkies Tea party with a friend at restaurant Emma in Eindhoven. Really great! From soup to sandwiches and sweet snacks.

For my little niece’s birthday we went to the Blijdorp Zoo in Rotterdam for a day. In between we made a family portrait haha.

Together with Eric I went again to our favorite restaurant in Nuenen: Pezzaz. I went for a savory tartlet with brie and pear and Eric for the cod with lobster risotto. Was really delicious again!
