In August the weather was still lovely! And we certainly enjoyed that. We also went to Northern Ireland for a week and I received a nice food post. Take a quick look…
A number of new cooking and baking books have been published: Rutger Bakt’s Biscuits Bible, 100 quick world recipes from Tasty & Simple, Healthy weekly menus from Nutritious & Fast. Reviews will be online soon!
Spontaneous night at the fair with my niece and nephew was so much fun! And of course I also bought popcorn and oliebollen and sat on the Ferris wheel.
I have found a nice free flex desk to occasionally work outside the door: Aristo in Eindhoven. At home I am sometimes distracted and another important thing; they have air con 🙂
Eric surprised me with a dinner, and not just at a restaurant but star restaurant Wiesen in Eindhoven. Wow, what a delicious meal we had. Okay, not cheap but we have rarely eaten so well.
I received some nice mail from Roost erz &Co , this is a new brand of high quality chicken snacks for the oven or Airfryer in different flavors. They were very tasty and for sale at
Even more fine post: Avec rosé . This fresh rosé is not only tasty but also nice to give as a gift because there is room on the label to write the name of that person.
I made a lot of delicious recipes again this month, such as hair salon Hawaii . Only Eric had lost the photo of this so I had to retake it again, but that wasn’t a big deal.
We also recorded a number of videos and our dog Payo kept an eye on everything as a director 🙂
I organized a BBQ for my family in our garden. It is especially delicious with such a beautiful Big Green Egg.
We went with my in-laws for a bite to eat at Turkish restaurant Turkoise , they have a nice playing field and terrace for the kids. Unfortunately it rained that day but that didn’t spoil the dinner as the food was delicious.
I’m still so happy that I can work from home and spend so much time with Payo, and so is he. He often lies on my lap when I work behind the computer.
It was our nephew Vigo’s birthday and turned 4! So I made a pirate boat out of watermelon and it was a great success! Soon I will share a tutorial on my site how you can make it yourself.
I also got to work and made this tart with blueberries. Because I don’t eat everything myself (otherwise I would already be a lot of kilos heavier) I often hand it out among my (in-law) family and Eric’s grandpa and grandma are biggest fan 🙂
And we went to Northern Ireland for another week, that was really beautiful and special. I wrote an extensive report about it with our route, tips and of course lots of beautiful photos.
So, the month of September is also fully planned! Especially lots of fun things and parties like my own birthday and a press trip to Cyprus! Do you want to stay informed about new recipes, facts and personal updates? Then follow me on Instagram .
