The month of April started with a load of snow, Payo was also surprised! Fortunately, it also got warm later that month.

I made a lot of new recipes, the mixer was also regularly on. I baked a delicious yogurt strawberry cake. This recipe will be online soon.

Yes they’re back, fresh white asparagus. I’m lucky because 3 minutes away from our house is a farm with fresh asparagus and strawberries. There you can choose thick, thin or peeled asparagus.

We enjoyed the sun in April, and sometimes an ice cream. I almost always go for the yogurt cherry flavor.

It was Easter, and we celebrated that with family at restaurant Nu in Eersel. It is also ideal for children to play here. And luckily the weather was good too.

We enjoyed an Easter brunch with a soup, sandwiches, omelette, tortilla chips with egg salad and dessert. That was fun!

Our nephew Vigo came to stay, he loves Lego and Eric has a few things in the attic so a very large castle was built.

I went to lunch with the girls from the family at Het Boshuys in Son. This is located in the middle of the woods and their menu is top-notch, a lot of vegan, sustainable and freshly made. I love that.

I went from a blonde to a brunette. At Zo Mooi in Eindhoven, Nienke dyed my hair with a plant coloring. This is better for your hair, completely natural and gives a nice effect. Very happy with it!

Photographing recipes is getting better and better for me, and I really enjoy doing it. Eric used to do it all the time but now limits himself only to test subject of all dishes 😉

I received a lot of tasty and fun mail again! Like these bottles of Belvoir soda in the flavors Floral Fizz, Bitter Orange Spritz and Spicy Ginger Fizz. They contain only 4.5 grams of sugar and less than 20 calories per 100 ml and therefore also ideal for a low kcal cocktail.

Cashew nuts from Johnny Cashew! Because they are peeled in the country where they are harvested, they are a lot more sustainable. It also contains broken nuts, so that a lot less is thrown away, and just as tasty!

I was lucky, I got a whole box of fresh asparagus from The asparagus center! Including a bottle of wine from Barefoot, vegan alternative to cheese from Violife. With this I made something delicious that will be online May 9th.
