Look behind the scenes – July 2021

Must Try

In this monthly overview of the month of July you get a look behind the scenes, you see which new recipes will be online soon and I share new products and nice restaurant tips!

When I don’t have much time to cook, I usually make gnocchi, which you only have to cook for 2 minutes. Add some vegetables and tomato sauce and some cheese on top and you have a delicious meal. Also check out my gnocchi recipe here .

I was sitting in the garden and 3 times in a row this butterfly came to sit on my knee. I think it was a nice place to sit in the sun.

I did a pamper afternoon with my niece of 4; we went shopping and eating ice cream. Then do the nails and have a nice meal. Have fun with the girls 🙂

This month we ate no less than 2 x at Pezzaz, our favorite restaurant in Nuenen. Once with Eric and once with my in-laws. It was delicious again. I ate this wonderful gazpacho as an appetizer.

Whoever follows me on Instagram may have already noticed that our dog Payo is sick, he has 2 malignant tumors. After much deliberation, we decided to have him operated on in August. So now it’s time to cuddle and spoil even more.

I made really fantastic blondies, they turned out really well. I added macadamia and fudge to it. The recipe will be online soon!

We went to visit friends in Maastricht, they have a nice labrador named Mako. She is a lot younger than Payo and in the beginning Payo sometimes thought this was too busy but now things are getting better.

Eric’s grandparents both had their birthday in July, they turned 94 and 91 years old. How special to grow old together. We celebrated this with the whole family at restaurant Nu in Eersel, where you can sit on the terrace and let the kids play.

In July I was very busy with the launch of our renewed website; a lot of checking, designing and double checking. But I am very proud of it! To celebrate this, the agency that did the technical realization organized a lunch in their office. Learn more about our updated features and design here .

So I spent many hours in front of the computer. Fortunately, often with something delicious such as these ice cream cakes. I also made them in an Oreo variant , which is now online.

You may remember her, Jaimy worked for us until 1.5 years ago and regularly made recipes. We had agreed again to have a bite to eat with our men and that was very nice! We ended up at Nu Nautilus in Roermond.

It was also time for my hairdresser visit at Zo Mooi in Eindhoven. After going a shade lighter blonde for years, I now went for a shade darker with low lights.

I got a nice food post again, like this quinoa from Pablo’s. They are available in ready-made bags in different flavors and in variants that you still have to cook yourself. This quinoa from the Andes also has an extremely low footprint and also contains a lot of protein.

Boost up your breakfast with these products from My Boost. They are ideal for giving your breakfast, smoothie or pancakes a healthy and tasty twist. They come in four smoothie powders and three breakfast mixes. For sale at AH.
