3 sweet Bugles filling tips + recipes

Must Try

When I have to choose between a sweet or savory snack in the evening, I often can’t make a choice. A chip or a piece of chocolate? Hmm, difficult! That’s why I now have the solution: Bugles with sweet filling!

Is that tasty? Yes, of course! The combinations such as caramel and sea salt or bacon with honey prove that sweet and salty go well together. And if you pull a dirty face, I challenge you to give it a try. Of course it’s also a matter of personal taste, but I’m sure you’ll be amazed

And we are now familiar with that combination of Bugles with (cream) cheese. So time for something new! I made 3 delicious dips: one with chocolate, one with mango dip and stroopwafel caramel. I really liked all three, especially the one with stroopwafel. And they are also super easy to make. Ideal for snacking during a cozy women’s evening or a movie night. Or surprise your visit on your birthday with these special combinations, that is guaranteed to be fun.

If you have a nice idea for a filling tip, throw it on social media under the hashtag #buglesvultip. And of course this can also be a savory dip such as with pesto, avocado or surimi, just what you like. In this way we collect all the tasty ideas together and there is always plenty of inspiration available. Because with those Bugles you won’t get bored! Also look at www.bugles.nl

3 x recipes filling tips

Filling tip 1: chocolate

1 bag Bugles Natural
Milk or dark chocolate (approx. 100 gr)
Almonds (approx. 50 gr)

Finely chop the almonds with a food chopper or food processor. Melt the chocolate au bain-marie over a pan of hot water. Dip the Bugles with the tip in the chocolate and pass them through the nuts. Place them on a piece of baking paper to let them dry.

Tip: you can also put the melted chocolate on the table in a mini fondue pan with tea light and a plate with the chopped nuts. This way you and your guests can dip yourself.

Filling tip 2: mango

1 bag Bugles Sweet Chilli
100 gr mango
200 gr cream cheese
3 tablespoons honey

Mix the cream cheese with the honey. Puree the mango with a chopper or blender. Stir the mango mixture into the cream cheese mixture in a few scoops. Garnish with some extra mango chunks, if desired.

Tip: this mango dip is extra tasty with the slightly spicy Sweet Chilli variant.

Filling tip 3: caramel stroopwafel

1 bag Bugles Natural
2 stroopwafels
5 cubes of fudge and a dash of whipped cream or use caramel sauce
200 gr cream cheese
Pinch of cinnamon

Melt the fudge au bain marie with a dash of whipped cream. Stir occasionally, it takes about 15 minutes until the fudge has melted and a caramel sauce is created. Meanwhile, finely chop the stroopwafels with a sharp knife or chopper. Toss them with the cream cheese along with a pinch of cinnamon. Add 2 tablespoons of the caramel sauce. Put the dip in a bowl and garnish with some pieces of stroopwafel and some extra caramel sauce.
