There is a lot of confusion about which fish is responsibly caught and which is not. With the tuna from Princes you know you’re in the right place. They only work with partners who are committed to catching fish in the most responsible way and who meet the strictest quality requirements. The tuna therefore also has the MSC quality mark (Marine Stewardship Council) and is caught with ring nets where the chance of bycatch is very small. If you want to read more about it, visit the Princes website .

Pasta dish from the oven with tuna

300 gr pasta
2 tins of Princes tuna in sunflower oil a 160 gr
1 tablespoon capers
400 gr broccoli florets
400 gr diced tomatoes from a can or pack
1 onion
1 clove of garlic Pinch of
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1 tin of tomato puree
125 gr ricotta
Handful of grated mozzarella cheese

Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Cook the pasta al dente for about 10 minutes and then drain, reserving some of the liquid. Also boil the broccoli florets for 3 minutes in a pan with water and then rinse with cold water. Chop the onion and garlic finely and sauté in a pan with a little olive oil. Add the tomato paste and diced tomatoes. Season the sauce with thyme, pepper, salt and cayenne pepper (watch out with kids because this can be spicy).

Gently fold the pasta and broccoli with the capers into the tomato sauce. Add 1 or 2 tablespoons of the pasta cooking water to make it smooth. Drain the tuna and carefully toss the pieces through the paste. Then put everything in a greased baking dish. Divide some ricotta over it and sprinkle with grated cheese. Place the baking dish in the oven for about 20 minutes until the cheese has melted.
