Indian chicken skewers

Great for the barbecue or in the grill pan; chicken marinated in a fresh, sweet marinade with a spicy bite


300 gr chicken
3 spring onions
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 lime
1/2 tbsp chili sauce
1 tbsp honey
Dash of dark soy sauce
Black pepper
1 clove of garlic
Skewers (soaked in water)


Grate the lime and squeeze it. Mix the juice and rap with the chili sauce, soy sauce and honey. Crush the garlic clove and add it to the marinade. Season with a little pepper. Cut the chicken and pieces and mix well with the marinade. Cover and let it rest in the fridge for at least half an hour. Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers and fry them on both sides until brown and cooked through on the BBQ or in a grill pan. Place them on a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds and spring onion rings. Delicious with some salad and/or rice.
