300 gr green beans
500 g gnocchi
2 shallots
2 cloves of garlic
4 tomatoes
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sugar
150 ml sieved tomatoes
250 gr steak strips
1 ball mozzarella, sliced
3 tbsp pine nuts
Fresh basil leaves


Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Boil the green beans in plenty of water and a pinch of salt for 4 minutes and drain. Return a pan of water to the heat and cook the gnocchi for 2 minutes. When they float to the top, they are cooked and you can drain them. Finely chop the garlic and shallot and fry them in the olive oil. Cut the tomatoes into pieces and add them. Pour in the tomato pulp and season with 1 teaspoon sugar and plenty of salt and pepper. Roughly chop half of the basil leaves and add to the tomato sauce. Let the sauce simmer for another 5 minutes. In another pan, brown the steak strips very briefly on all sides. Spoon the green beans, gnocchi and steak strips into a large baking dish.Spoon the tomato sauce through it and divide the mozzarella and pine nuts over it. Place the dish in the oven for 15 minutes until the mozzarella has melted. Scatter over a few fresh basil leaves before serving.
