Barbecue skewer with small meatballs, pieces of corn and mushrooms in a garlic butter marinade


8 meatballs (pre-cooked if desired)
8 medium mushrooms
2 corn on the cob
75 g butter, melted
2 cloves of garlic
Salt and pepper


Remove any leaves from the corn cob. Cut the corn on the cob into quarters with a sharp serrated knife. Bring a pan of water to the boil and cook the corn pieces for about 8 minutes, then drain. Crush the garlic and mix with the melted butter. Pour half of the butter over the mushrooms and mix well with a spoon. Pour the rest of the butter over the corn on the cob. Place the pieces of corn, meatballs and mushrooms alternately on the skewers. Sprinkle with some salt and pepper and bake them on the BBQ for about 10 minutes.

Tip: If you stick a piece of bacon on the skewer behind and in front of a mushroom, it will burn less quickly and will have a nice taste.
