Delicious leek stew with fried bacon and lightly melted brie with walnuts on top
Preparation
Boil the potatoes in a pan with water for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a frying pan without oil or butter. After a few minutes, add the leek and stir-fry for a while. Drain and mash the potatoes and add the milk and butter and mix to a mash. Stir in the bacon-leek mixture and half of the walnuts. Taste to see if the stew is salty enough or could use a pinch of salt and pepper.
Put the stew in a bowl and divide some slices of brie over it and let it melt slightly on the warm leek stew. You can also put the stew with brie in the oven for a few minutes at 200 degrees if you want the brie to melt faster. Finally sprinkle with some extra walnuts.
