Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Put the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion with the garlic for a minute. Add the minced meat and the zucchini in small cubes and fry for 3-4 minutes.
Add the tomato pomodoro sauce, sugar, oregano, pepper and salt and heat the sauce for another 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the mozzarella into slices. Drain the peppers and cut into strips.
Pour a little of the meat sauce into a greased oven dish and place 3 lasagne sheets on top. Spoon another layer of meat sauce on top and divide about ⅓ of the pepper strips and mozzarella on top. Lasagna sheets and a layer of minced meat sauce, mozzarella and bell pepper are placed on top. And repeat this again.
Sprinkle the lasagna with the grated cheese and possibly a pinch of extra oregano. Bake the lasagna for about 45 minutes.
