These homemade bars with granola, oatmeal and peanut butter are perfect as a healthier snack
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix the peanut butter with the water in a bowl. Heat this in the microwave for about 30 seconds and mix well until you get a smooth peanut butter sauce. Add a pinch of salt to the peanut butter mixture.
Take a bowl and add the granola and oatmeal, mix well. Chop the peanuts and add this to the bowl as well. Now mix the peanut butter mixture with the rest and stir well. Melt the coconut oil in the microwave for about 30 seconds and mix this into the mixture as well.
Take a sheet of baking paper and wet it slightly. Ball into a ball and now the baking paper can easily be formed in the oven dish. Spoon the granola mixture into the baking dish and bake the granola bars in the oven for about 20 minutes.
Then remove from the oven and cut into 5 strips. Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie while the bars cool down. Then divide the chocolate over the bars in nice stripes.
Note: the fact that these bars contain nutritious ingredients does not mean that they are low in calories. For vegan bars, check whether the dark chocolate is vegan.
