Bread Pudding With Apple

Must Try

Old-fashioned tasty bread pudding with apple slices, raisins and cinnamon

6 slices of (stale) white bread, without crust
2 eggs
60 gr sugar
500 ml milk
1 large apple, sliced
4 tbsp raisins, soaked in water
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Butter for greasing
Medium baking dish

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Halve the slices of bread. Grease a baking dish with a little butter. Place the slices of bread in the oven dish, alternating with slices of apple. Beat the eggs with the milk and sugar and divide over the bread. Sprinkle with the soaked raisins and cinnamon. Place the tray in the oven for 40 minutes. If it gets very dark, you can cover it with aluminum foil. The bread pudding is best when it is still slightly warm.
