Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken

Ingredients

    • Chicken Breasts: 4 boneless skinless pieces (about 1.5 pounds)

    • Salt: 1 teaspoon

    • Pepper: 1 teaspoon

    • Garlic: 4 cloves minced

    • Lemon Juice: 1/4 cup freshly squeezed

    • Lemon Zest: Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    Start by seasoning the 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Make sure to coat both sides evenly to enhance the flavor.
  2. Sauté the Garlic
    In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to let the garlic brown.
