Easy red fruit crumble

Must Try

Adessert is always a good idea and this easy red fruit crumble is ready in no time! Very easy to make with ingredients from your pantry. And you just get the fruit from the freezer. So you can always whip up a dessert whenever you feel like it.

For 2 people:

  • 175 grams of red fruit (frozen)
  • 40 grams almond flour
  • 40 grams brown sugar
  • 15 grams of oatmeal
  • 1.5 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 drop of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Also needed:

  • 2 ramekins or heat-resistant dishes of about 10 -15 cm

This time we don’t make our crumble in a large bowl, but in individual jars. Very handy when we do social distancing . This recipe is for two people, but feel free to halve the ingredients for a dessert for one person. Because sometimes you just want to enjoy yourself.

If you make sure you get gluten-free oatmeal at home, this is also a gluten-free dessert.

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees (conventional oven).

Divide the fruit among the dishes.

Mix the ingredients for the topping: the almond flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and a pinch of salt. Add the melted butter, along with the vanilla extract and stir. Set aside.

Stir the sugar and cornflour together and spoon it over the fruit in the ramekins. Spoon the topping on top and press well (yes, it really fits!).

Place the ramekins in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes, until the top is golden brown and crispy.

Serve the red fruit crumble with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or crème frache. But without them they are also god-de-corpse.
