  • 600 grams of young potatoes
  • 1 bunch watercress
  • 200 grams ( home ) smoked herring
  • 1 small teaspoon horseradish*
  • 100 ml sour cream or Greek yogurt

* Horseradish can be found with the herbs in small glass jars.

Boil the potatoes in salted water. Drain and cut as quickly as possible into slices 1.5 to 2 cm thick. Place the cream or yogurt in a large bowl and stir in the horseradish. The potatoes are allowed, cut the herring into pieces and add to the lettuce and the watercress is also allowed. Serve while still warm.
