For 4 persons:
- 500 grams firm white fish fillet
- 75 ml Turkish yogurt
- 4 tablespoons flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- salt and pepper
- 40 grams of flour
- 1 ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 eggs
- 150 grams of cornflakes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- lemon in wedges
Culy is allowed to publish a delicious recipe from the book: fish nuggets with parsley dip. Fish croquettes, kibbeling and fish fingers: it’s all delicious because of the crispy jacket. Preferably make these nuggets with super fresh fish from the market.
Cut the fish into wide strips of five by two centimeters. Mix yogurt, parsley and mayonnaise in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. In a bowl, whisk together the flour and oregano. Sprinkle the fish with salt and pepper. Roll the fish in the flour. Beat the eggs, then roll in the fish.
Break the cornflakes with your hands into a deep plate. Roll the pieces of fish through the cornflakes and press it down. Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the pieces of fish for about five minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Divide the fish nuggets between four plates and serve with a lemon wedge and the parsley dip. Delicious with salad with cherry tomatoes and mashed potatoes.
