How do you make crispy pasta chips yourself?
Choose the paste you want to use. Do not use string pasta for this, because with that you can’t easily dip or scoop with it later. Go for shells or penne instead.
Cook the pasta, drain, pat dry and drizzle with olive oil. Choose the seasonings you want on the pasta chips. You can think of paprika powder, cayenne pepper, ground cumin, cajun herbs, Provencal herbs and garlic. But also think of cheese such as grated Parmesan or pecorino. The sky’s the limit.
Mix everything well and put it in the oven at 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes or put it in the airfryer at 200 degrees for about 10-12 minutes. Toss the pasta occasionally until it is crispy and lightly browned.
In the meantime, you can start thinking and working on the dip that comes with it. A tomato dip or pesto is of course very appropriate, but a mayonnaise with a twist can also work very well. Dip!
