Here you can watch the online Masterclass of Culy x Nadiya Hussain!

Must Try

We had to pinch ourselves, but Culy was recently in the kitchen with Nadiya Hussain. The British cooking queen (also known as the female Jamie Oliver – although she is so much more), gave an online masterclass exclusively to Culy readers, where she taught us how to make a recipe from her new book Nadiya Bakt.

For 5 people:

For the teriyaki sauce:

  • 300ml hot water
  • 30 g brown sugar
  • 150 ml dark soy sauce
  • 30 g ginger root, not peeled, finely grated
  • 6 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1-2 tsp chili flakes (optional, or to taste)
  • 5 boned chicken thighs
  • 225 g noodles (5 litters)

To finish:

  • A small handful of coriander, chopped
  • 3 spring onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 large red pepper, sliced
  • sesame seeds, black and white

Nadiya’s new cookbook, Nadiya Bakt , is not only about sweet recipes like pies, cookies and cakes, but also about savory dishes that you can conjure right out of your oven. And because Nadiya is a big proponent of easy, quick dishes (preferably with few dishes), her recipes are also very accessible, with a relaxed approach.

Add to that the infectious enthusiasm of the Netflix heroine and before you know it, the baking virus has flared up in you and you want nothing more than to bake all day.

Culy, together with publisher Luiting-Sijthoff, organized an exclusive masterclass for the readers of Culy. Viewers at home could cook live and in the meantime ask all their questions to Nadiya. Together we made teriyaki noodles: a quick and easy oven dish from Nadiya Bakt.

Did you miss the masterclass? Watch it back below. You can find the recipe in the book, but you can also make it on the basis of the video.
