This super fast granola is really delicious. Serve with yogurt and if you want to make it even more exciting: fruit compote or jam. You can of course vary to your heart’s content with this granola; add nuts, dried fruit or other grains.
- 50 grams rye flakes or oat flakes
- 50 grams almonds, roughly chopped (no slivered almonds!)
- 50 grams sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey (or more)
- pinch cinnamon
- 50 grams of raisins
Preheat the oven to 160°C. Place all ingredients, except the raisins, in a large bowl and toss with your fingertips until everything starts to clump together. If the mixture is still too dry, add some extra honey.
Line a baking tray with baking paper and spoon the mixture on it. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, until golden brown. Toss well halfway through.
Remove the granola from the oven, let it cool slightly, crumble into pieces and let it cool further. Mix with the raisins. The granola can be stored for a month in a good closed glass jar!
