For 6 muffins:

  • 130 grams of flour
  • 30 grams of oatmeal
  • 60 grams brown sugar
  • 20 ml neutral oil
  • 130 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 6 teaspoons Nutella
  • muffin pan
  • Paper muffin cups

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. First mix all the dry things – so flour, oatmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt – together. In another bowl, mix the wet things – oil, milk, eggs – together. Grab a spatula and slowly mix the wet mixture into the dry mixture until you have a good whole.

You don’t need a mixer and it can be a bit lumpy! Now mash the banana fine and fold it into your batter. Fill a muffin tin with muffin tins and divide the mixture between the ramekins. Make sure you keep seeing half an inch of paper.

Finish each mold with a teaspoon of Nutella in the center and place the muffins in the oven for about 20 minutes. Check with a skewer if they are ready. If the skewer stays dry, you can take them out.
