Sweet oatmeal porridge made with coconut water

Oatmeal porridge is made from oatmeal and a liquid, often water or milk. We experimented in the Culy kitchen with coconut water as a second ingredient! Super tasty, healthy and tropical.

For 1 large or 2 small servings:

  • 330 ml coconut water (exactly one small packet of Vita Coco coconut water)
  • 70 grams of oatmeal
  • Pieces of ripe mango
  • little honey
  • Little cane sugar

Heat 330 ml of coconut water (we used exactly one small packet of Vita Coco coconut water, our favourite) and 70 grams of oatmeal (normal oatmeal) in a pan and bring to a gentle boil. Let it boil for a few minutes until all the coconut water has been absorbed by the oatmeal and a thick mass is formed.

Add honey (to taste) and stir well. Let cool a little.

Serve with pieces of ripe mango and a little jaggery for sweetness and a crunchy bite. Enjoy it!
