You can prepare this granola in half an hour in the evening. Let it cool down overnight and take it with you to work, school or for the train or car the next morning.

For about 4 people:

  • 400 grams oat flakes
  • 100 grams of sunflower seeds
  • 200 grams mixed nuts (e.g. pecans, almonds and hazelnuts)
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • low-fat quark
  • extra honey to garnish

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees. Mix all ingredients, except for the cottage cheese and the extra honey for garnish, in a bowl. Stir well until it becomes sticky. Spread the mixture on a baking paper on a baking tray and put in the oven for 15 minutes. Then stir the granola well and check the darkness and crispness, and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, until you are satisfied with the result.

Remove from the oven and toss well again. Let the granola cool overnight.
