Avery tasty homemade granola: with olive oil for a savory taste, and many healthy ingredients, such as oat flakes, seeds and nuts. Made in 5 minutes, then in the oven for 40 minutes.
For about 300 grams of granola:
- 90 grams of oat flakes
- 75 grams of unroasted hazelnuts, peeled
- 50 grams of unroasted pumpkin seeds, peeled
- 50 grams coconut grater
- 60 ml maple syrup or agave syrup
- 40 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 30 grams brown sugar
- pinch of sea salt
- pinch of ground cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the oats, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, grated coconut, maple syrup, olive oil, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. You can also omit the brown sugar if you want a slightly less sweet granola.
Spread the mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet in an even layer. Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes, stirring the mixture every 10 minutes. The granola is ready when everything is toasted golden brown. Note: if you have a strong oven, it can be a little shorter. Taste a piece after half an hour.
Let the granola cool. It can then become hard, so break it free afterwards. Transfer to a clean preserving bottle or storage jar. Enjoy!
