Eric and I went canoeing on the Dommel with our dog Payo. In about 2 hours you sail over the river with many bends, bridges and sometimes cows along the side. very nice!
Payo found it a bit exciting in the beginning but after that he was soon ahead of the bow like a captain haha.
It was lovely BBQ weather, so time to switch on the Big Green Egg. I made baked sweet potatoes, grilled aubergine and an orzo salad. All this is in the photo.
And the next day there were of course leftovers from the BBQ, so I had a delicious lunch.
You can eat the most special ice cream in Eindhoven at Intelligentia, from coconut BBQ pineapple to ginger lemongrass and white chocolate rose. I went for pineapple with red pepper.
On May 27 Eric and I were married for 6 years. To celebrate this, we went away for a night to hotel de Leijhof in Oisterwijk, and we also enjoyed on terraces and a 4-course dinner.
