It was lovely warm weather in June, ideal for making homemade ice creams. I made a special variant that will soon be online on the site.

We visited friends in Maastricht and ate pizza from Piano B, a really good pizzaria in the south where the pizza is baked in the wood oven

After a busy day at work, Eric and I often settle down on the sunbeds in our garden, and Payo always snuggles in. And he always wants to be in the middle haha.

Because I always work from home, I sometimes like to sit somewhere else. The library in Eindhoven is one of my favorite places, partly because of the delicious lunch.

You can eat really tasty and good Italian food at restaurant Hout in Eindhoven. I went for the melanzane parmigiana but the pizzas looked fantastic too!

Long time no see! But Jaimy (who previously also worked and cooked for LeukRecepten) and I met up with our men at Bistro Two in Roermond. And that was old-fashioned fun, and delicious!

Together with my in-laws, including nephew and niece, we were in Domburg for a few days. Fortunately we had good weather and Payo also joined us.

We also had a nice meal in Domburg, including at Oase and Strand90 right on the beach.

I myself was often in the kitchen again, and I can’t wait to share all the new recipes with you. You can already find this cobbler with red fruit online.

Together with my team I went out for dinner at Noeme in Den Bosch. Together with Sanne (who regularly makes lactose-free and gluten-free recipes), Lenna (who makes vegan recipes) and Charlotte, we enjoyed the terrace. And Noeme is highly recommended if you want a lot of choice with regard to vegetarian food.

It was our dog’s birthday and got a tasty snack! Payo lived to be 10 years old, and most people don’t give him that. He is still super playful and enthusiastic. But his face is getting whiter.

Together with Charlotte I was again in the kitchen to make all kinds of delicious new things, including coconut macaroons, fudge, gnocchi traybake and affogato were on the plans and you can expect them online soon. This is our last cooking day together for a while because Charlotte is going to Italy for a few months and works there remotely for LeukRecepten

I also received some nice mail. The new flavors of granola from Oot: coffee and lemon poppy seeds. The last one is especially delicious!

Hands off my chocolate has a new flavour: Smooth No M!lk. A vegan variant that tastes delicious and creamy. So it’s perfect to opt for plant-based more often.

Laura’s Bakery released a new baking book: Kinderbakboek part 2. After a successful first book, now a sequel with kidsproof recipes including illustrations.
