Look behind the scenes – November 2021

Must Try

In this November overview you get a look behind the scenes, you see which new recipes will be online soon, I introduce you to my new team member and I share nice restaurant tips and gifts for your wish list!

We started the month with dinner with Eric’s family at Fling, a restaurant in Eindhoven on the Dommelstraat. I hadn’t been there before. The menu mainly contains sushi and Asian dishes and I enjoyed my bibimbap.

I’ve wanted to have my eyebrows microbladed for a long time, which means a kind of tattooing with semi-permanent make-up but with a natural look. Finally I made the decision and I went to Belleza Natural in Eindhoven and super happy with the result, no more signs for the time being.

Of course I made a lot of goodies this month and put them on the picture. From a stir-fry with satay to gingerbread cookies. Still looking for goodies for Sinterklaas? Check this blog with 10 x Sinterklaas recipes .

I also made a few very tasty Christmas recipes, including this salmon roulade which turned out very well. The recipes will be online in December!

I would also like to introduce Charlotte to you, she is my new team member and now works for LeukRecepten. Especially behind the scenes and sometimes in my kitchen, she has already made some delicious recipes for you such as kruidnoten pancakes . Like me, she is a real foodie and also lives quite sustainably and consciously. She has also already typed a handy blog for you about what to do with Christmas leftovers.

I also went to lunch with Charlotte in Den Bosch at Yalla Yalla, although it was almost impossible to call it a lunch, it was a lot! But super tasty! All Arabic dishes, from falafel to baba ganoush to roasted cauliflower.

I also finished my first oliebol this fall! Yum, I love it so much! It really is one of my guilty pleasures.

Furthermore, LeukRecepten existed 10 years this month! I celebrated this on my Instagram with fun giveaways. But Eric and I also went for a high cocktail together at bar/restaurant Thomas in Eindhoven. Very nice!

This month I received a lot of fun and tasty food post just before the holidays. Including this cool Eindhoven gift box containing a delicious Limoncello from Che dona luce and olive oil from Mr. verna. Ideal as a gift or promotional gift. Check out their sites or channels for more info.

Combekk visited me with a super large box containing a number of beautiful pans. Combekk is a sustainable brand that makes pans and other tools from recycled iron and aluminum and they also come from Breda. So check!

Are you looking for something delicious for in the shoe or for a special evening? Then these chocolate letters from Hands of my chocolate are a fun and delicious idea. For sale online and in various stores.

Looking for even more inspiration for your Christmas dinner? Then you will find a lot of tasty and festive dishes in the new Delicious. From sweet to vegetarian and complete menus.
