I had a nice appointment in the center of Eindhoven at Vic kitchen, formerly Streetfood. A lovely place to sit and enjoy various guilty pleasures.

Eric went out for an afternoon with our nephew Vigo to pick out a hockey outfit at Gunnemansports in Eindhoven, he immediately succeeded! After the summer he is going to play hockey.

I made a lot of delicious recipes again, including this pasticcio. This is a kind of Greek variant of the lasagna bolognese and really super tasty! I will share the updated recipe online soon.

Sometimes something very simple can be delicious. For example, I regularly eat a sandwich with strawberry for lunch. A little sugar on top and you’re done!

We were invited by friends for a weekend in Enkhuizen, so beautiful and idyllic there! Nice houses, shops, beautiful harbor and fun. We also had a B&B in an authentic style.

And we also got to know Mr. Verna , a quality olive oil straight from Italy. And it comes in various flavors such as red pepper, basil and lemon. And a beautiful bottle to have on the table.

And it was someone’s birthday! Payo was 9 years old. He is slowly getting older now, he sleeps more and is already getting a gray face. Unfortunately, malignant tumors have recently been diagnosed, which made us very sad. But with a bit of luck he will also be 10, or 11.

As you may have heard, we have launched something really cool: a free personal weekly menu! Tailored to your preferences. You can choose whether meat, fish, vegetarian recipes should appear in your weekly menu, or whether low-carb or gluten-free. Unfortunately, there were a few startup issues that prevented some people from receiving email, but that’s now resolved! So register quickly !

Of course it was also time for the European Championships! I always like to watch and celebrate this. Unfortunately, the Dutch team did not get very far, but I would like to share this nice photo with my niece.

A few years ago Eric and I went out for dinner at the Berlage in Eindhoven, this was not very good. But now we’ve been back and it was fantastic! A new interior, owner and card. Delicious food and a perfect place in the center to sit protected on the terrace

Eric and I celebrated a week’s holiday in our own country. First a few days Veluwe and then Zeeland. We first stayed at the Hotel Beekhuizen, a really beautiful modern stay in the middle of nature. We also spotted wild boars, deer and beautiful birds on our walks.

We went for dinner at Me & Mrs P. A restaurant in Velp where you can eat and sit really delicious. I went for the fried cauliflower with couscous and vadouvan mayo.

After 3 days we drove to women’s polder in Zeeland where we stayed in the new hotel Breezand. Everything was perfectly arranged here too, you can reach the beach in 10 minutes on foot.

You have several beach bars where you can sit, including at De Dam, where we also enjoyed a delicious dessert of blondies with boluses. Intense but tasty

I also received nice and tasty mail with the latest products. So are these cans of Batu. You may already know this 100% natural kombucha, but it is now available in a can in 3 delicious flavors. Ideal for a hot day and it contains no sugar.
