Great combination of soft goat cheese with caramelized red onion served in a crispy cup


20 crispy cups (e.g. from jos poels)
150 gr soft goat cheese with honey
1 large red onion
1 callus balsamic vinegar
1 callus light caster sugar
1 callus butter


Finely chop the onion. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the onion. Add the sugar and balsamic vinegar and sauté the onion for about 10 minutes. Meanwhile, fill the cups with the goat cheese. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of caramelized red onion into each filled cup and sprinkle with a little thyme. You can serve them cold, but they are best served warm.
