Shrimp with zucchini and bacon

Must Try

Tasty tapas snack of shrimp wrapped with zucchini and slices of bacon

18 shrimp (with or without tail)
1 zucchini
125 g bacon
(Basil) oil
black pepper
baking dish
Cheese slicer

Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise and scrape off a few slices with the cheese slicer. This can of course also be done with a mandolin. Cut the zucchini slices lengthwise so that they are about the same width as the bacon slices.

Put a slice of bacon on it. Place the shrimp at the beginning of the zucchini and bacon slice. Roll up the shrimp and secure with a toothpick. Sprinkle with a little black pepper. Place all shrimp skewers in an oven dish and sprinkle with a little (basil) olive oil and put them in the oven for about 12 minutes. Nice with some bread.

Tip: shrimp with a tail are more beautiful in terms of presentation, but shrimp without a tail are more practical to eat in one go ☺
