Chicken with homemade satay sauce, beans and fries

Must Try

I’m not a big fan of peanut butter, but I do love satay sauce. Yes, I know it sounds a little crazy. Because satay sauce is very easy to make yourself from peanut butter. Below you will find my recipe for satay sauce, and I guarantee you can hardly go wrong!

Oh yes, before I get reactions that it is not satay sauce but officially peanut sauce. Yes you’re right about that. But I named it that way just for the sake of convenience because the name satay sauce is more familiar. What exactly is the difference: satay sauce is sauce for over skewers of satay (from roasted chicken or meat, for example). Peanut sauce is one of them and is made from peanuts in Indonesia. But satay sauce can also be, for example, soy sauce, do you remember?

Satay sauce (from peanuts) is delicious with the chicken or on the fries, so I made it into one tasty meal. And you can choose whether you just put the satay sauce over the chicken or over the fries or just over everything :-). In addition to the portion of vegetables and vitamins, the beans and pineapple also provide a delicious and fresh taste.

I prepared the fries in the oven, I used the potato fries with skin from CêlaVíta. These have a good bite and also become nice and crispy in the oven. But you can also fry them in the Airfryer or deep fryer.
