3 x festive snacks with cheese

Must Try

With the holidays approaching, you can always plan a nice drinking moment. For example with Sinterklaas, during Christmas or on New Year’s Eve. Enough reasons for a party ūüôā

And what should definitely not be missing on the serving board?¬†Just a nice piece of cheese.¬†I really love cheese and love to throw it in or over all my dishes.¬†The disadvantage of cheese is that it can be quite pricey, especially a slightly more luxurious cheese for the serving board.¬†That’s why I went to Aldi where they have tasty and high-quality cheeses for a small price in their regular and party assortment.

One of my favorites is the walnut cheese for less than 2 euros for a large piece of 250 gr. I combined this on a skewer with a piece of pear, grape and Serrano ham. A wonderful winter combination. To warm up, I made toasts with brie and apple from the oven. And if you want to go all out, the glasses with chicory boats with gorgonzola are recommended. And what is also very nice to serve these 3 different snacks on a nice board or plate as an appetizer or amuse-bouche.

And while you’re at Aldi, take a look at the drinks.¬†There are really¬†good wines¬†in their range that combine perfectly with these snacks.¬†That is why there is a suitable wine tip with every recipe.

10 grapes

Cut the cheese into cubes. Peel the pear and cut into cubes as well (I just left the peel on). Prick the cheese with pieces of pear, half a slice of Parma ham and a grape on the skewers.
Tip: sprinkle the pear with a little lemon juice to prevent discolouration. Keep the skewers in the fridge for up to 1 day.
