One of my favorites is the walnut cheese for less than 2 euros for a large piece of 250 gr. I combined this on a skewer with a piece of pear, grape and Serrano ham. A wonderful winter combination. To warm up, I made toasts with brie and apple from the oven. And if you want to go all out, the glasses with chicory boats with gorgonzola are recommended. And what is also very nice to serve these 3 different snacks on a nice board or plate as an appetizer or amuse-bouche.

Picks with walnut cheese and pear –
250 gr walnut cheese
5 slices of Serrano ham
Cut the cheese into cubes. Peel the pear and cut into cubes as well (I just left the peel on). Prick the cheese with pieces of pear, half a slice of Parma ham and a grape on the skewers.
Tip: sprinkle the pear with a little lemon juice to prevent discolouration. Keep the skewers in the fridge for up to 1 day.

Sandwiches with brie and apple
1 piece of cream brie a 200 gr
10 slices of party bread (baking)
5 walnut halves
Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Cut the brie into slices and then into the size of the bread rounds. Cut the apple into small pieces and divide it over the brie. Sprinkle with some coarsely chopped walnuts and drizzle over some honey. Place in the oven for about 8 minutes.
Tip: they are best served warm.

Glass with smoked salmon and gorgonzola
1 stalk of chicory
100 gr smoked salmon
125 gr gorgonzola
Cut the gorgonzola into cubes and the smoked salmon into equal pieces. Cut the avocado in half and unscrew the halves. Remove the pit and peel and cut the flesh into cubes. Put a leaf of chicory in the glass and fill it with the pieces of gorgonzola, salmon and avocado.
Tip: use the chicory boats as a spoon to spoon the filling out of the glass. Serve with an extra chicory leaf, if desired.
