Video: mini Apple Tart

Must Try

Nice as a treat or as a dessert with whipped cream or ice cream: filo dough rolls with apple, raisins and nuts.

Ingredients

10 sheets of phyllo dough (1 pack freezer, thawed in the pack)
4 to 5 apples
1 tablespoon lemon juice
75 gr sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
4 tablespoons raisins
4 tablespoons coarsely chopped walnuts
50 g butter, melted
materials
Baking tray with baking paper

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix the cinnamon and sugar together. Peel the apples and cut into small cubes. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice and fold in ¾ of the cinnamon sugar, walnuts and raisins. Take a sheet of filo dough (cover the rest with a slightly damp tea towel) and brush with butter. Spoon some of the apple mixture onto the front of the filo pastry. Fold the sides in and roll it up tightly (watch the video how to do this easily). Brush the top of the filo pastry with some melted butter. Place the mini apple strudels on a baking tray with baking paper and sprinkle the top with some cinnamon sugar. Bake the filo pastry apple rolls for about 20 minutes until crisp and lightly brown. Delicious with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream.
