Delicious seasoned minced chicken skewer for the barbecue, served with a yogurt garlic sauce


500 g minced chicken
1 shallot
Pinch of cumin
Pinch of paprika powder
Pinch of nutmeg
Salt and pepper
Fresh parsley
1 egg
30 gr breadcrumbs
250 ml Greek or Bulgarian yogurt
2 cloves garlic
3 tbsp mayonnaise
Fresh parsley


Chop the shallot and parsley very finely and mix with the egg and breadcrumbs into the minced meat. If the mincemeat is still very sticky, you can add a little more breadcrumbs. Season the minced meat with the herbs. Divide the minced meat into about 8 portions and make sausages out of it. Thread these on skewers and press them around a bit so that they are firmly attached. Cover them and keep them in the fridge for as long as possible.
Mix the yogurt with the mayonnaise. Crush the garlic and finely chop the parsley and stir into the sauce.
Brown the meat skewers on the barbecue for about 10 minutes. Serve the skewers with the yogurt sauce and, if desired, a fresh salad. Not nice weather outside? you can also fry them in a grill pan.
