6 dried plums
6 dried apricots
2 calloused almonds
1 onion
150 g bacon
Pepper and salt

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Cut the plums and apricots into pieces and slice the onion. Heat a little butter in a pan and fry the onion. Add the apricots, plums and almonds and fry for a while. Just don’t cut the roulade all the way through the middle. Sprinkle the inside with salt and pepper. Scoop the filling from the pan into the roulade and gently press the halves back together. Wrap the bacon slices around the roulade and find about 4 strings around it. Heat a knob of butter in the pan and brown the roulade on all sides for 5 minutes. Place the roulade in an oven dish and pour over the cooking liquid. Place the baking dish in the oven for about half an hour.Baste occasionally with the cooking liquid. Remove the strings and slice the roulade. Delicious with potatoes and salad.
