Delicious pasta recipe from the oven with chicken, spinach and tomatoes and lots of mozzarella


350 gr pasta
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
200 g grated mozzarella
300 gr fresh spinach
250 gr cherry tomatoes
200 gr cream cheese (eg Monchou soft and airy)
splash of milk
300 gr chicken breast
pepper and salt
1 teaspoon oregano
fresh basil leaves
1 tbsp oil


Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Cook the pasta according to the package until al dente and drain. Meanwhile, chop the onion, finely chop the garlic and fry it in a pan with a little oil. Cut the chicken breast into pieces and fry them until they are nicely browned all over. Stir the cream cheese and a dash of milk through the chicken until a white sauce is formed. Add the oregano and season with a generous pinch of salt and pepper.

Turn off the heat and toss the spinach through the chicken and sauce and sprinkle with ¾ of the mozzarella. Grease an oven dish and make a layer on the bottom with half the pasta, half the chicken-spinach mixture and some cherry tomatoes. Repeat one more time and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella. Place in the oven for 30 minutes until the mozzarella has a nice light brown crust. Scatter some basil leaves over it.
