Ingredients
75 g bacon
4 tomatoes
1 onion
splash of olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
50ml water
few fresh basil leaves
½ teaspoon oregano
1 small can of tomato paste
180 gr pasta
Optional: grated cheese
Preparation
Cut the tomatoes crosswise at the bottom. Place them in a bowl of hot, barely boiling water for 1 minute. Then rinse them with cold water under the tap. Then you can easily pull the skin off the tomatoes and cut the flesh into pieces.






Chop the onion and garlic and fry in a little olive oil until light brown. Cut the bacon into thin strips and fry for 3 minutes with the onion. Stir in the tomato paste. Then add the tomato pieces, oregano and 50 ml of water.






Let it simmer for about 20 minutes with the lid closed. Stir occasionally. Meanwhile, cook the pasta. Toss the pasta and basil leaves into the fresh tomato sauce. Serve the pasta with some grated cheese and a salad.
