Fish with pesto and Parma ham

Must Try

Fish with pesto wrapped in Parma ham with green asparagus, super simple to make and very tasty!

2 pieces of white fish
6 slices of Parma ham
2 tablespoons pesto
lemon juice
250 gr green asparagus
pepper and salt
oil for frying
1 to 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Sprinkle the fish with a little lemon juice and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread the top with a layer of pesto. Wrap 3 slices of ham around each fish (the bottom probably won’t fit completely, but that’s okay). Cut off the ends of the asparagus of about 2 cm. Bring a pan of water to the boil and cook the asparagus for about 5 minutes.

Drain and keep warm in the pan or under a lid. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and fry the fish on the bottom first for 2 minutes until crispy. Then fry for another 2 to 3 minutes on the other side until the fish is cooked. Serve the asparagus with the piece of fish in ham and sprinkle with some cheese. Delicious with mashed potatoes or French fries, for example.
