Chicken thighs from the oven in a syrupy oriental sauce with beans and rice




 Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Place the fish sauce and soy sauce in a saucepan with a small splash of water. Chop the red pepper, ginger, and garlic finely and the lemongrass stalks into coarse pieces and add to the pan. Heat it well. Then stir in the brown sugar and the juice of the lime. Let this mixture simmer for 10 minutes.

 Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish. Pour the Oriental sauce over it and place in the oven for 25 minutes. Halfway through, baste the chicken with the sauce again in the baking dish. Also cook the rice according to the package and the haricot verts in 5 minutes until al dente. Place some of the beans on a plate and serve the chicken with some of the sauce over it. Sprinkle with some spring onion rings. Serve the rice separately.
