Oriental stir-fry with pieces of marinated steak and fresh and slightly sweet nectarines.



 Cook the rice according to the package. If your nectarine or peaches are still very hard, like mine, you can fry them in a little butter for a few minutes. Cut the steak into strips. Mix in a bowl with the soy sauce, olive oil, honey and lime juice. Chop the garlic and ginger finely and sauté in a (wok) pan.

 Then add the steaks and marinade and sear over high heat. Immediately afterwards add the pointed bell pepper in rings and the peach wedges. Bake for another 2 minutes. Do not overcook or the meat will become tough. Serve the stir-fry with the rice and some sesame seeds.

 Tip: no fresh nectarines or peaches available? Then use canned peaches.
