Pasta with roasted cauliflower and fried bacon in a delicious creamy white sauce
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees or heat the Airfryer to 200 degrees. Cut the cauliflower into small florets and put in a bowl and add a dash of olive oil, thyme, salt and pepper and toss together. Spread on a baking tray and roast in the oven for 20 minutes or in the Airfryer for 12 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta and heat the peas. Fry the bacon crispy in a dry frying pan. Drain the pasta and reserve the cooking liquid.
Return the pasta to the pan and stir in the crème frache. Add a dash of the cooking liquid until you have a smooth sauce. Add the roasted cauliflower, bacon and peas and mix together. Season with a pinch of pepper and garnish with some parmesan cheese.
