This simple Indonesian fried rice consists of fried rice with ham strips flavored with garlic and soy sauce

Preparation

 Cook the rice according to the package and let it cool completely in the fridge. Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry in a (wok) pan in a little oil. Add the sambal to taste and then also the djahe and curry.

 Add the ham strips and the spring onions in rings and fry for a few minutes. Add the rice and fry over high heat for a while. Finally, stir in the soy sauce. Serve the fried rice with prawn crackers and/or a fried egg.
