Sweet Potato Pizza

Must Try

This orange bottom contains a lot of sweet potato, which is tasty and healthier than a regular pizza!

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees hot air. Cut the sweet potatoes into equal pieces and mix them in a bowl with a tablespoon of oil, pepper and salt. Roast them in the oven for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, slice the vegetables for the topping. Remove the sweet potato cubes from the oven and put them in a food processor and mix well, do not turn too long otherwise the mixture will be too thin. Spoon the orange mixture into a bowl and fold in the whole wheat flour and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Line a baking tray with baking paper. Take half of the dough and divide it in a circle on the baking paper. Smooth with a (wet) spatula. Repeat this with the other half of the ‘dough’ on another baking sheet. Bake the base in the oven for 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and spread the pizza sauce over it, leaving the edges free. Then divide the vegetables over it. You can of course also use other toppings such as ham, salami or bell pepper etc. Tear the mozzarella into pieces and divide over the pizza. Sprinkle with some grated cheese and bake the pizza for another 15 minutes in the oven.
