Quick and easy casserole of potatoes, tomatoes and gyros, delicious with some garlic sauce and lettuce



Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Boil the potatoes (depending on the thickness) for about 8 minutes until they are al dente. Place the meat in a bowl and add the gyro spices and a tablespoon of oil, mix well. Bake the meat in a frying pan, if you use vegetarian pieces this is not necessary because it is often cooked already.
Drain the potatoes and toss them through the gyro meat as well. Cut the tomatoes in half and toss in as well. Place everything in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with some cheese and put the oven dish in the oven for 20 minutes.
Before serving, garnish the gyro platter with iceberg lettuce (or serve separately). Delicious with garlic sauce.
