Pizza calzone with tuna

Must Try

Fancy pizza calzone, but can it be a little cheaper? This budget-proof recipe is easy to make and will cost you about €3.20 per person.

Preheat the oven to 225°C.
Cut the broccoli into florets and blanch for two minutes.
Make the pizza sauce in the blender by mixing the peeled tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, salt and pepper.
Cut the onions into rings and fry them briefly.
Also cut the mozzarella into small cubes.
Keep at least 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce aside and mix with a little olive oil.
Add tomato sauce on half of the pizza bases. There may be a little left over.
Now add the olives, tuna, mozzarella and broccoli to the tomato sauce. Spread a little extra tomato sauce on top if you want. Now fold half of the pizza dough without tomato sauce over the ingredients. Now push the edges closed and turn the edge one more time.
Spread some of the tomato sauce and oil mixture over the top of the calzone.
Bake the calzone pizzas for about 15 minutes.
