Macaroni with minced meat and vegetables

A dish that appeals to everyone; macaroni with tomato sauce, zucchini, bell pepper and (vegan) minced meat. Made without packages and bags.  



Finely chop the onion and garlic. Fry it in a pan with a little bit of oil.
Cut the bell pepper into small cubes and fry for a while. Add the minced meat and fry it.
Cut the zucchini into cubes and the mushrooms into slices. Add both to the pan, season the mixture with pepper, salt, some fresh basil leaves and the Italian herbs and cook for another 8 minutes or so.
Meanwhile, cook the macaroni until done and then drain.
Stir the tomato puree through the minced meat and vegetable mixture and then add the tomato sauce. Cut the cherry tomatoes into pieces and add last. Mix everything well and let it simmer for a few more minutes.
You can serve the macaroni and sauce separately or mix them together. Serve with some grated cheese and fresh basil.
Tip: do you like spicy? Fry a finely chopped red pepper with the onion and garlic.
