 Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Peel the potatoes and cut with a mandolin or sharp knife into thin slices (the thinner, the faster cooking). Mix the cream with salt, pepper, nutmeg and press in the garlic. Add about half of the grated cheese. Mix this well together and then also with the potato slices.
